Brad Pitt like to getting older

Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt said Tuesday he enjoys getting older because age brings wisdom.

"Me personally, I like ageing. With age comes wisdom... I'll take wisdom over youth any day," he told a press conference during a visit to South Korea to promote his latest film "Moneyball".

"I think, certainly, being a father changed everything for me," said the actor, 47, whose partner is fellow superstar Angelina Jolie. They have six children.

Parenthood means a changed perspective for him, an interest in taking care of himself and mornings being around for their children, he said.

"Moneyball," an adaptation of Michael Lewis's 2003 bestseller "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game", is scheduled to be released this week in South Korea.

Pitt stars as Oakland Athletics baseball team general manager Billy Beane, who took on the big league by assembling a competent team on a shoestring budget   using a new method to evaluate players and find their hidden talent.

Pitt said the film's box office success elsewhere was not merely celebrity-driven.

"Popularity is good for the opening weekend but what we've been really happy with this film is that it keeps playing weekend after weekend, crossing generations and genders," he said.

"And that tells us we have something more than a film, (more than) a celebrity-driven film or a subject-driven film. It's really a good movie and it's really fun and it's a good laugh and it's got meaning in it."

Pitt said he was interested in shifting from acting to the production side but was not putting an exact time limit on his acting career.

During an interview with an Australian current affairs show in Tokyo, he had said he would quit acting at 50.

"I do quite enjoy the producing side," Pitt said in Seoul, adding he would like producing films which are difficult to make under the current system or "getting behind talent that we believe in".

The British actor - who has a five-month-old son Flynn with wife Miranda Kerr - beat celebrities including soccer star David Beckham and Hollywood heartthrob Jude Law to take the top spot in the poll, which was conducted by website MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk to mark Father's Day in the UK, which is celebrated this Sunday.

Andy Barr, Marketing Director of MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk, said: "With Father's Day coming in the UK we wanted to put celebrity dads under the fashion spotlight. Hollywood Couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ‘Plan French wedding’

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to get married at their newly-renovated French chateau.

The Hollywood superstars raise six children together and have been dating since 2005. Speculation about when they will tie the knot has been rife throughout their relationship and it has now been reported they will wed during the grape harvest later this year.

The couple are currently overseeing extensive work on their $60 million 35-bedroom Miraval estate in the South of France and are keen to complete soon so they can hold the nuptials there.

"The couple have been working on the property for a while now because they want to be able to host most of their wedding guests in the house and the home needed to be modernised,” a source told X17 Online.

“But all the locals are talking about how these two will be hosting their wedding here in France, at their chateau, in the fall."

The 16th century chateau boasts its own private chapel and Brad - who has a keen interest in architecture – wants to restore it with a view to making their marriage vows there.

The plans have been approved by the local government, but they are facing trouble over their use of helicopters.

The couple have been accused of using their extensive gardens as a helipad, but Brad, 47, and 35-year-old Angelina are keen to protect their privacy and believed landing inside their 880-acre estate is the only way to avoid the public spotlight.

"They want to land their helicopter on the property because this area is difficult to get to,” the source added.

“The home is on the top of a mountain and we are basically in the middle of the countryside here. People like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie don't have the time to drive here - they want to move quickly. But local government officials aren't happy with where they are currently landing their helicopter. It is in the middle of the protected gardens and the owners have been told they need to find a new landing pad."
