Robert Pattinson: Arsenal is the one true love I miss most now I'm in LA

Despite currently going out with movie pin-up and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart - and being the dream date of many millions of teenagers around the world - R-Pattz singled out the Gunners above all else as the thing he misses most about England.

Pattinson now resides in Los Angeles, where his acting career has taken off since his starring role in the world-famous series of vampire films.

And speaking to Metro about what he misses most now he's based in the US of A, he said: 'I miss the newspapers - I still prefer English newspapers to US ones.

'I miss reading the sport section. I miss the football… Arsenal.'

R-Pattz has scooped more awards in the last few years than his football team, who look set to go another year without a trophy.

The 24-year-old will almost certainly have surprised many Londoners by saying he also misses the stench of the smoggy capital.

'I miss the light in London, which is different to anywhere, and also the smell of the city,' he continued, before predictably adding: 'I miss getting pints in pubs.'

He's probably one of the only ones who can afford them these days...

Hollywood Actress Reese Witherspoon more happy in Easter

Hollywood beauty Reese Witherspoon has come up with a smelly new game for Easter, a race with eggs stuffed in your socks.

The 35-year-old actress who recently wed her talent agent Jim Toth, celebrated the holiday with her two children, Ava and Deacon, whose father is ex-husband Ryan Philippe, reported Contactmusic. "I was trying to think of new games you can play. So I went online and there's this game where you stuff as many eggs into your tube socks as possible and then you have to run a race. Whoever ends up at the end of the race with the least amount of broken eggs wins," said Witherspoon.

The 'Water For Elephants' actress decided on the egg race despite knowing that it would end up stinking a lot. "It's actually super fun, because the adults get competitive. We started whacking each other, grabbing each other, taking each other down. Especially me, because I'm a little bit competitive. Literally, it's disgusting and it smells like rotten eggs for about three weeks. But it's fun," she said.

Hollywood movie "Water for Elephants": Film Review

Water for Elephants is a 2011 drama film based on Sara Gruen's novel of the same name, directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Reese Witherspoon as Marlena Rosenbluth, Robert Pattinson as Jacob Jankowski, and Christoph Waltz as August Rosenbluth. Hal Holbrook will play the older Jacob Jankowski.

Other cast members include Mark Povinelli as Kinko/Walter, Jim Norton as Camel, Scott MacDonald as Blackie, James Frain as Rosie's caretaker, Ken Foree as Earl and Paul Schneider as Charlie O'Brien. The film opened to mixed reviews.

As a young man, Jacob Jankowski (Pattinson) was tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It was the early part of the Great Depression, and for Jacob (Holbrook), now ninety, the circus world he remembers was both his salvation and a living hell. A veterinary student just shy of a degree, he was put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie.

It was there he met Marlena, (Witherspoon) the beautiful equestrian star married to August (Waltz), the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. Here he also met Rosie, an untrainable elephant and the only hope for this third-rate traveling show.

On a budget of $40 million, filming began on May 20, 2010 in Los Angeles, Piru, Fillmore in California; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Kensington and Chickamauga in Georgia. The filming wrapped up on August 4, 2010. This is the second time Witherspoon and Pattinson have costarred together as they had filmed a deleted scene from 2004's Vanity Fair in which he was her estranged son. Reshoots for the film were scheduled for mid January, 2011.

“Water for Elephants” has received mostly lukewarm reviews. Review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes reports that 50% of critics have given the film a negative review based on 81 reviews, with an average score of 6.2 out of 10. The critical consensus is that the characters lack chemistry but the landscape is engaging. Film Journal International said the movie has “one-dimensional characters and an unfulfilling storyline” and that some scenes made the reviewer “cringe.” Access Hollywood reviewer Scott Mantz, on the other hand, compared Water for Elephants to Titanic, “thanks to an engaging love story and strong performances.”
